Summer Fayre

Hello from Vicar Dave!

I hope you are enjoying the summer weather! Hopefully it continues on Saturday, but whether it does or not, we will be enjoying a Summer Fayre & BBQ from 3pm-6pm. Do join us! And invite friends and family.

Before that on Saturday there will be a Coffee Morning, from 10am-Noon. For anyone staying on from the Coffee Morning for the Fayre, there will be a BBQ lunch available. Again, do join us.

  • Daytime Prayer Meeting each Wednesday at 1pm in Church. Join us to pray for God’s work in our lives and Church.
  • A Musical Evening with Tanya concert. An evening of popular operatic music. July 19th 7pm
  • Coach outing to Clacton on Sea - July 26th.
    • The Bible Speaks Today: We are studying some great books of the Bible. Join us to learn from God together:
       Sunday morning: Acts - turning life The Right Way Up.
             Sunday evening: Luke - Stories Jesus Told- Stings in the Tale.
             Midweek (Tues evenings and Wed mornings): Heroes of Faith in Hebrews 11.
    • Keep our Churchyard and Church looking great! We need church members to give 30 mins of your time! Contact the office for details.
    • Sunday Club for children - spread the news - all children welcome for lots of fun.
      • Diocese ‘100’ There is a sign up sheet for the Festival day of fun and praise outing to Keysoe, Bedfordshire, to celebrate the Diocese 100 years. Monday 25th August.
        • Forthcoming social events at St Thomas’s -  Please see the notice board in the church hall for further details.
        • Thank you to everyone who kindly supported me on my run.  We raised £150 for Cancer Research. Love and God Bless Donna Alexander
        • Parish Lunch on Wed 3rd September 12:30pm. Sign up on list in the porch.
          • Lending Library in Church Foyer full of Christian material to borrow.

            • Morning Prayers in Church is taking a summer break from July 10th till early September.
