Getting Ready - Newsheet for 24/11/13

STOPSLEY PARISH CHURCH - ST THOMAS‘
Hi from Vicar Dave!

We are getting reading for Advent, Christmas and the New Year! Join us in praying this coming Wednesday, and get ready for travelling with God into all that He has for us.

If you would like to donate towards the Philippines emergency appeal we will have a collection 'urn' in church on Sunday. Or send money, either to us and we will pass it on, or to one of the other local collection points. Many thanks for your help.

Sunday Morning’s Theme is: Exodus 4:1-17. Dealing with Anxiety.
Readings: Exodus 4:1-17 (p60), Luke 23:33--43 (p1060)
Sunday Evening’s Theme is: 1 Peter 2:18-25. Good News in the Workplace.
